I have enjoyed my Acer Laptop for over a month now. It outperforms machines twice it's price with it's speed, size, picture quality, and specs. I used to have a COMPAQ which cost over $1200 and there is no comparison.

I've only had my Acer for a week, but so far, very good. The specs are great. You get a lot of computer for the money. The display looks good, the key board is a good size and has a nice feel, and it's lightweight. My only quibbles are the shiny exterior is impossible to keep fingerprints off of and the battery life is not great- about 2 1/2 hours. But I knew about the short battery life before I bought it. I will be using it at my business and at my home. Portability is important, but being unplugged for hours isn't really crucial to me, although it would be a nice touch. I'll post an update when the newness has worn off, but my first impression is that I got a really great bargain.
